Founded in 1967 to serve the needs of global and local families, ACS International Schools is an American organization that operates three international schools in the London area: ACS Cobham, ACS Egham, and ACS Hillingdon. The schools educate over 3,700 students, ages 2–18, from more than 100 countries. They offer day and boarding opportunities as well as the internationally transferable International Baccalaureate (IB).

ACS International Schools provide a world-renowned curriculum that includes all International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs and top US programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as the AP Capstone and International Diplomas. Academic success enables ACS graduates to attend the college of their choice and many of the world's finest universities.

The IB’s four programs encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development. IB programmes are developed independently from national systems and governments, incorporating best practice from research and a global community of more than 4,000 top-performing schools. IB World Schools encourage students of all ages to think critically and challenge assumptions, to become globally engaged, and to learn multilingually.

All ACS International Schools students who successfully complete the prescribed course of study receive an accredited High School Diploma. Students pursuing this qualification choose from an extensive range of traditional and contemporary subjects to create their own uniquely challenging programs. The ACS high school diploma (US) meets the admission requirements for US colleges and universities.

ACS International Schools is guided by a Board of Trustees, with a wealth of international and UK experience across a range of areas including education, charity, finance, strategy, marketing, human resources, information technology, and law. The Board supports the development and day-to-day operations of the schools.

International School of London

Founded in 1972, International School of London (ISL) is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and IB Middle Years Programs. English is the primary medium of instruction; however, the school is unique in offering teaching in more than 20 different languages at the primary and secondary levels. Instruction in a native language helps international pupils retain a strong sense of self in relation to their native culture and language, as well as greatly enhancing opportunities for university entrance worldwide.

The ISL London Curriculum provides a rigorous, comprehensive and cohesive learning program that is designed to meet the academic, social, cultural, physical, mental, and spiritual needs of an international student body. As a fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) School, its entire program, from early childhood to grade 12, has been developed in accordance with the curriculum frameworks, standards, and practices of the IB. ISL was one of the first schools in the UK to offer the IB Diploma and now also follows the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) for ages 3–10 and Middle Years Program (MYP) for ages 11–15. These programs are designed to fulfill the ISL vision of combining intellectual rigor and high academic standards with a strong emphasis on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship. The PYP is challenging and student-centered. It focuses on the development of the whole child. In the primary years, children learn through a structured program of inquiry, and their natural curiosity is nurtured. The curriculum provides children with a sense of identity, in time and place. The MYP curriculum offers a rigorous and challenging framework of academic study and life-skills. It is designed to serve the particular needs of adolescents in an international framework. Emphasis is placed on developing critical and creative thinking skills. The IB Diploma is an internationally recognized, pre-university course of study which leads to external examinations. The two-year program for ages 16–18 has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment which equips students with the skills and attitudes necessary for success in higher education and employment.

The main ISL campus is situated on the corner of West London's leafy Gunnersbury Park where the school's Forest School meets weekly to explore and learn in 200 acres of nature. In addition, older students can use the outdoor space recreationally during the day. Ealing Common offers an expanse of green space for Diploma College students, and it is just a short walk from Ealing Common Underground Station and Ealing Broadway. The school offers a busing service for families from many locations in West London.

ISL schools are governed by a board of appointed members who are chosen through a rigorous selection process. Board members offer the range of expertise necessary for the strategic development of the group. The schools' activities are centrally controlled by the group's CEO and each school has a senior leadership team managed by the Head of School who exercises operational control of the school's day-to-day activities.

Southbank International School

Founded in 1979, Southbank International School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) School for ages 3–18, with campuses in Hampstead, Kensington, and Westminster. It was the first school in the United Kingdom to be authorized to offer all three IB programs: Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programs. There are 70 nationalities represented in the school's student body, with more than 20 languages taught at Westminster.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, focused on the student. Its three programs develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills required to live, learn, and work in a rapidly globalizing world. The IB serves the needs of internationally mobile families.

As part of the IB Primary Years Program (PYP), the school offers an early childhood curriculum for children 3–5 years old. Through inquiry-based learning and play, it aims to engage and stimulate young students and nurture their academic, personal, and social development. The IB PYP, at Southbank's Hampstead and Kensington campuses, is designed for students ages 5–11. It focuses on the total growth of the development child, touching hearts as well as minds and encompassing social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs in addition to academic development.

The IB Middle Years Program (MYP), at the Westminster campus, is a curriculum designed to meet the educational needs of students ages 11–16. Young people at this stage of their education require an engaging and holistic curriculum that is relevant to the important real-world issues that so concern them—from the personal to global.

The IB Diploma Program, at the Westminster/Fitzrovia campuses, for students ages 16–18 is increasingly being adopted by British schools as the depth and breadth of this two-year program is recognized and respected almost universally. It provides a rigorous pre-university curriculum with additional extra-curricular requirements that enables graduates to gain admission to the most selective universities around the world.

The Primary Years Program is available at the Kensington campus in Notting Hill and Hampstead campus. Both are relatively small, with each having a maximum capacity of around 220 students. This helps create a family feel and close-knit community. These locations include well-equipped music and art rooms as well as libraries that are used regularly to develop information literacy skills.

The Middle Years Program is available at the Westminster campus, which is located on three sites in central London (Portland Place, Conway Street, and Cleveland Street), all of which are just a five-minute walk from each other. Diploma Program students attend classes on Conway and Cleveland streets.

Southbank International School is proud to be part of the global Cognita family of schools. Cognita is an extraordinary group of diverse yet connected schools joining forces in an inspiring world of education with one common purpose: building self-belief and empowering individuals to succeed. With 85+ schools in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, Cognita employs some 10,000 teaching and support staff in the care and education of more than 58,000 students.
